The U.S. Army Print and Media Distribution Center (APMDC) is the Department of the Army's primary provider and distributor of "authenticated" publications, print services for Headquarters Department of the Army principles officials, Direct Reporting Units to HQDA, Field Operating Agencies of HQDA, and all Army organizations within the Washington DC area per DODI 5330.03 and AR 25-38.

Army organizations outside the Washington DC metropolitan area may use APMDC to assist in their printing and distribution requirements.

Bridging the gap between physical media and modern information systems engineering, the Army ensures its warfighters remain part of the most informed, ready and capable military in the world. APMDC serves as the backbone of the Army's publication and media distribution mission. The Printing Management Division is responsible for the entire lifecycle of any printed materials. This division procures, manages and distributes everything from departmental forms, technical manuals, training publications, and multimedia products for a vast customer base.

APMDC provides customer support for the Active Army, Army Reserves and Army National Guard, as well as cross-service support in the Department of War (DOW), Foreign Military Sales, Navy, Air Force, Marines and direct support to the Pentagon and White House.

Media Distribution Division

MDD

APMDC manages, stores, and distributes published information products in various media to the US Army, National Guard (Air and Army), Department of the Navy, Department of the Air Force, the Department of Defense, Foreign Military Sales, and contractors worldwide.

Products provided include Army departmental publications, forms, technical and field manuals, training publications/products, and other Army and DOD printed products.

MDD is responsible for the life cycle management of published multi-media products. Personnel ensure stock levels are adequate to support mission requirements.

Printing Management Division

PMD

APMDC's Printing Management Division provides trained and experienced Print Specialists to assist the Army in all print requirements. PMD exists to provide the Army printed material for the lowest cost with comprehensive printing of all types.

Unlike DOD, PMD does NOT have a surcharge/fee for services. Through the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army, PMD funds print procurement for all HQDA Army Principal Officials and HQDA field operating agencies.

Submitting a Print Request for Procurement

Submit all print requests to the Printing Management Division mailbox: usarmy.belvoir.usamc.mbx.apmdc-printing-management-division@army.mil by fully completing the DA Form 7898, providing the print-ready art file, and ensuring funding is in place.

Funding

The Printing Management Division (PMD) accepts funding via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) direct charge or a Funded Reimbursable Authority (FRA) from other services through a G-Invoicing Order in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

Required Forms

All printing requests must be accompanied by one of the following forms. In accordance with AR 25-38, all Department of the Army printing and local Army command printing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area must be sent to the Printing Management Division (PMD).

Submit Print Procurements

Please send all print procurements to the PMD email address below. PMD will accept and process print funding in accordance with your agency and federal government policies. All Army print funds must come directly to PMD to eliminate delays in processing.
