Associate Director, Readiness and Field Support

Readiness and Field Support (RFS) Directorate is the ILSC’s “face to the field”, housing our Senior Command Representatives, Logistics Assistance Representative (LAR) program, and the Total Package Fielding mission to include New Equipment Fielding and Training. As such, RFS delivers a workforce around the globe providing C5ISR-M technical assistance, preparing and enabling the warfighter and coalition forces for combat readiness. Essentially, RFS ensures a Soldier and Unit can complete their mission.

RFS manages technical modernization initiatives, configuration management, and logistics support to keep C5ISR-M systems current and effective. We provide subject matter expertise, issue resolution, and critical safety communications to support operational proficiency while maintaining materiel readiness. RFS conducts maintenance operations ensuring the readiness of equipment at the T2COM schoolhouse at Fort Huachuca under Fleet Management Expansion (FMX).

Weapon Systems Management (WSM) Directorate is the ILSC’s hub of Integrated Logistics Support, executing holistic product support management strategies for C5ISR systems. We drive transformative logistics, operations, and maintenance solutions, empowering forward-deployed forces with innovative strategies to ensure mission readiness and operational superiority in a dynamic global environment.

WSM handles program management, budgeting, integrated logistics, and sustainment strategies that ensure effective resource allocation and long-term system viability. We deliver equipment readiness, depot operations, engineering support, and sustainment transitions to maintain operational capability. WSM also leverages performance-based logistics, integrates with supply chain execution, and resolves Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) to ensure continuous parts availability and system supportability.

The Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) drives C5ISR-M materiel readiness through a data-integrated supply chain anchored by Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data integrity.

We orchestrate demand forecasting, supply execution, and synchronized distribution to maximize equipment availability and reduce operational risk. SCMD directs the critical financial execution strategy for sustainment commodities across all Army PAEs, aligning individual portfolio priorities with overarching strategic objectives. By executing seamless sourcing strategies across both commercial contracting and the Organic Industrial Base (OIB), we ensure the Army’s supply networks remain resilient, financially sound, and ready to support the warfighter.

Associate Director, Logistics and Technical Support

Logistics and Technical Support (LTS) Directorate enables C5ISRM readiness through Technical Writing, Provisioning, Engineering, and Logistics Support.

LTSD delivers comprehensive technical and lifecycle support that ensures system sustainability and operational effectiveness. The primary functions of LTSD are to write, verify, and authenticate technical manuals and support them over the lifecycle; and, to catalog and provision end-items and parts so they are accountable, integrated into the Standard Army Supply System (SASS), and updated for changes over their lifecycle. We oversee all Engineering functions, and support the logistics functions that cross the entire C5ISRM portfolio to include: Advanced Manufacturing, Predictive Logistics, Corrosion Prevention & Control, Type Classification, Basis of Issue Plan, Modification Work Orders, Maintenance Messages, Supply Chain Risk Management, Title 10 Core Depot Maintenance Planning, Packaging, Transportation, Value Engineering, Acquisition Logistics Integration, Obsolescence Management, Shelf-Life Management, Industrial Preparedness, Item Unique Identification, Counterfeit Risk Management, and Product Quality Deficiency Reporting.

Ms. Leigh Anne Alexander

Associate Director, Medical Systems

Medical Systems (MS) Directorate is ILSC’s hub of Integrated Logistics Support to medical systems, executing holistic product support management strategies and life cycle management. MSD supports medical systems and equipment by influencing strategic supply chain management in coordination to DLA and Joint Services, informing medical maintenance strategies across all echelons, and providing technical support at the field and depot level to guarantee operational availability and readiness.

MSD provides specialized lifecycle management and sustainment support for medical equipment and systems to inform long-term medical system investment and modernization decisions. We are the Army's MEDLOG Functional Data Manager, the DoW CLVIII SICA, ensuring curated data management to enable medical integration into the Sustainment Enterprise. MSD manages the medical Logistics Assistance Program (LAP), spearheads technical data management, and provides training to maintain medical equipment operationally capable of meeting the end goal of supporting the warfighter’s medical mission.
